What is PTFE?
PTFE is a fluoropolymer resin which can be compression molded and sintered (cooked) or extruded into basic shapes.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as “the king of plastics”, is a kind of polymer prepared by the polymerization of Tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as monomer. Waxy white, translucent, good heat and cold resistance, can be used at -180 ~ 260ºC for a long time. This material has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, resistance to a variety of organic solvents, almost insoluble in all solvents. At the same time, Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, its friction coefficient is very low, so can make lubrication, also became an ideal coating for easy cleaning water pipe inner layer.
